The leaders of the Tibet Autonomous Region's region visited listed companies

To fully implement the decisions made at the national financial system work conference and further improve communication between government and enterprises, on December 26, 2024, Wei Xiuzhang, Vice Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region, Director of the Regional Party Committee’s Financial Office, and Secretary of the Financial Working Committee, visited Shannan City for research. He inspected listed companies such as Haisco and Tibet Mining, listened to their business operations, conducted on-site consultations, and coordinated solutions to the challenges faced by these companies, thereby supporting their high-quality development. Relevant officials from the Shannan Municipal Government, the Autonomous Region Government State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and the Tibet Securities Regulatory Bureau accompanied him.

Wei Xiuchang first on behalf of the Autonomous Region Party Committee and Government, and in the name of Secretary Wang Junzheng and Chairman Gama Zeden, expressed gratitude for the contributions made by two listed companies to the high-quality development of Tibet's economy and society. At the same time, as New Year's Day and the Spring Festival approach, he extended holiday greetings and good wishes to the employees who remain at their posts, and through them, to all workers.

At each location, Vice Chairman Wei Xiuzhang listened carefully to the introductions by the relevant enterprise officials, and engaged in in-depth discussions about the company's development status, strategies for growth, and market expansion. For the difficulties raised by the enterprises, Vice Chairman Wei Xiuzhang took action on the spot and coordinated personally. He also required the local governments and departments involved to prepare lists and establish records, and to accelerate the processing. Anything that can be handled is done immediately. The ongoing follow-up efforts are aimed at resolving any policy obstacles, which further strengthens the enterprises' confidence and determination for high-quality development.

Wei Xiuchang pointed out that Hisilicon, as a pharmaceutical company, attaches great importance to research and development. It relies on innovative achievements to continuously drive the improvement of its performance, and should continue to uphold and promote this effort. Tibet Mining, relying on Baowu Group, has cultivated a group of advanced talents and achieved significant innovation results. It should utilize the group's advantages to become stronger and better. At the same time, it was emphasized that both companies, as listed companies, should deeply understand the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, the national financial system work conference, and the seventh plenary session of the 10th regional Party committee and the regional economic work conference. They should continue to carry the sense of responsibility and mission to love, build, and prosper Tibet, and actively invest in the high-quality development of the plateau economy. Attention should be paid to market value management, and stories of high-quality development for listed companies should be told. The quality of development should be continuously improved, and investors should be actively rewarded. It is necessary to seize the opportunities for reform and development in the capital market, apply the "Six Measures for M&A," and align with the needs of their own industrial development. Assets that help strengthen the supply chain should be acquired, and efforts should be made to extend into the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. The package of financial policies recently introduced by the Tibet Autonomous Region should be fully utilized, and active cooperation with relevant departments and institutions should be established to carefully plan future development directions. Comprehensive and detailed systems for safe production and emergency plans should be established to ensure that no major accidents occur. The "Two Mountains" concept should be implemented, and efforts should be made in process improvement and technological innovation to ensure environmental protection.
